It is well known that a suspension lift can alter the factory IFS geometry. It does not take much before Toyota’s OEM Upper Control Arms (UCAs) end up hitting the coilover springs on full droop and maxing out the stock ball joints. This can lead to uneven tire wear, poor handling characteristics, and even premature failure of critical suspension components. The Poly Performance Upper Control Arms (PPUCAs) are designed to accommodate the increased travel that comes with aftermarket shocks, plus they add additional caster and camber to help bring the alignment cams back into an acceptable range on lifted trucks. On the spindle side of the arms, PPUCAs feature a heavy duty greasable ball joint. These come pre-installed into the forged housings and allow for increased articulation while still keeping a smooth and quiet ride. The frame side of the PPUCAs are equipped with Synergy MFG Dual Durometer Bushings (DDBs) which are long lasting, maintenance free, and resistant to binding. The DDBs also come pre-installed in the forged housings, which helps make installation as painless as possible. The thick wall seamless DOM tubular control arms are finished with a glossy black powder coat and come with weather resistant Poly Performance Toyota heritage decals.
