Are you an easy target while out on your adventures?

Right now your expensive tent is haphazardly attached to your rig. Your stock bolts are quickly and quietly snipped off by bolt cutters without even setting off the car alarm, and the flat strap plates get bent and broken during wheeling. The poor quality overseas Nylock nuts come loose with vibration while also "galling" on install if you're not careful. Anyone can quickly steal your tent, throw it in their truck, and drive off with it in under 60 seconds (demonstrated in the video below).

Mass produced security nuts are easier to remove and steal than the stock nylocks. There are thousands of the basic security nut keys in circulation, anyone can find a key for them on amazon or ebay, or spin them off with pliers if you can grab at the base of them. Ours are exclusively licensed to us and keyed to our specs. This means no one but us sells this keyed hardware and it is completely unique to our kits.

Our patented mount system fixes the problems with your stock setup. It protects the proprietary locking fasteners from being tampered with by pliers and shields the shank of the bolt from bolt cutters. We include class 10.9 bolts which are rated to hold almost 1,000X the weight of your tent. The security nuts are keyed to our specifications, you can't buy these locking fasteners anywhere else, period. They also feature proprietary "raptor claws" integrated into the base of the security nuts, which are an upgrade over basic locking washers and work fantastic with the aluminum mounts.

Great security option

I got the rci option for use on my billiebars. They work great and as intended. The custom nuts that someone can't just get a bit for off of eBay for a few dollars is the real win. All security nuts/buts other companies use, the bit can be bought on eBay for a few bucks, making them useless to a prepared thief. My only wish is the brackets were a bit taller. I know there needs to be at least some empty space to be able to actually tighten it to the rack but was hoping for a smaller gap to minimize the effectiveness of an angle grinder attack. I still give it a 5/5 though as it is a huge step up from what came stock with my tent. It was tough spending 25% the cost of my tent on a few brackets, but I have much more peace of mind now leaving it on the rack when not being used and feel it is worth it🤘

Perfect fit!

Huge upgrade, security or not!

These mounts are much faster to install, they're an impeccably perfect fit, they look great. It's even easier to reposition the tent before tightening them down than before.

The only improvements would be some guidance on how to use the locking washers (or an updated YouTube video) given a sharp and smooth side, not wanting to damage the aluminum unless it's the intention; and, if it were possible to make the security bit magnetic, so it wouldn't fall on my face when I lose traction on my back 😬

Expensive But Worth It!

I lost a couple of WEW security mounts in a helluva washboard weekend trip. Pro-tip: Use the Blue Loktite. I sure will in the future.
So, I ordered a replacement set and Ian, The Shock Doc, was outstanding, sending me a new set of mounts ASAP, even though he didn't have the keyed security nuts from his vendor yet. He supplied Nyloks as an iterim and they will work fine.
