You may have noticed that there are two common colors of fog lights: white and amber. What you may not be sure of is why you should choose amber fog lights for your truck. Amber, yellow or orange fog lights are the smart choice when you plan to do a lot of off-roading or driving in inclement weather, including snow or rain. Amber lights have a longer wavelength than white lights, which results in reduced refraction, less glare, and less light bouncing back to you. This is especially important when you're driving in the rain, snow, or cloudy conditions.
